I'm Stan, a Montana elopement photographer based in Kalispell, and I photograph weddings all over Northwest Montana too. I married a Kalispell native two months after we met, and I get genuinely excited about couples planning a day that feels like them, whether that's two people on a trail at sunrise or a whole family in a backyard in the Flathead.
Glacier feels like home. I live a little over half an hour from the west entrance, so Lake McDonald at sunrise is an ordinary weekday for me. I know which lots fill before breakfast, which overlooks still feel like yours at noon, and where we go if the sky changes its mind. I'll walk you through the Glacier Special Use Permit, plan the day around road openings and where the light lands, and pass along the vendor list I'd hand my own friends. So when the day comes, you won't be meeting a stranger with a camera.
