Meet your photographer

Real moments, in wild places

I'm a documentary-style Glacier National Park elopement photographer, based in Kalispell at the park's west entrance, and I photograph weddings too. As a Montana elopement photographer my work centers on Glacier, the Flathead Valley, and the Montana wilderness, but I travel anywhere the story leads. From sunrise vows on a ridgeline to fifty of your closest people at a Montana ranch, I'll be there to capture the day exactly as it unfolds. Honest, unhurried, and true to who you are.

Originally from Bulgaria, I moved to the US in 2016 and settled in Kalispell, my husband Obi's hometown and the gateway to Glacier. I'm also an ordained officiant, which means I can sign the paperwork and make it official. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I celebrate love in all its forms. Every couple, every story, welcome here. If you want the long version of how a Glacier day comes together, the Blueprints walk through all of it.

Where to elope in Glacier National Park

The park has a set of designated ceremony locations, and each one feels completely different. Tap a spot on the map to see how it actually works on the day, and follow the car along Going-to-the-Sun Road.

Calm water, painted pebbles, and mountains stacked behind the lake. Accessible year-round, which makes it the go-to for winter elopements and low-stress timelines.

Access

Crowds
Busy midday in summer, nearly empty at sunrise
Hiking
None required

My take Face east at sunrise and the whole range lights up behind you. If you want an easy day with a big view, start here. In winter it looks like this.

Every ceremony location in the park requires a Special Use Permit, and a few have group-size limits worth knowing before you fall in love with a spot. Permit guidance is part of every elopement package, and the permit guide explains the process step by step, so reach out and we'll find the place that fits your day.

Timing the day

What the park is like, season by season

No season is wrong. Each one just asks for a different plan. Still deciding? Start with the best time to get married in Glacier.

Late June through mid September

Peak season, and the full park

The road is open end to end, wildflowers are out, and nearly every ceremony site is reachable. It's also when everyone else comes, so we start early.

The road
Fully open. Daytime vehicle reservations apply, so we plan around them.
The light
Long, soft evenings and an early sunrise.
The crowds
Heaviest of the year. A sunrise ceremony sidesteps almost all of it.

Best for couples who want the high country or a hike built into the day. The trail guide has the honest version of each one.

My approach

What makes this experience worth it? It's you.

Your story, your connection, the small in-between moments that matter most. That's what I'm here to capture. From our first conversation to the final gallery, I'm fully in your corner, and if you're still planning, I'll walk you through permits, locations, and timelines so nothing about the day feels overwhelming.

Not just elopements

Weddings in Glacier, too

If you're looking for a Glacier National Park wedding photographer rather than an elopement one, the difference on my end is small. The park allows ceremonies with guests at a handful of its designated sites, each with its own group limit: Apgar Amphitheater and the Lake McDonald Lodge lawn take the larger groups, the lakeshore spots hold a few dozen, and the alpine pull-offs are really built for just the two of you. The same Special Use Permit covers it, and I help with that either way.

What changes is the day itself. A Glacier wedding with fifty people means a timeline that works around shuttle windows and parking, a second photographer on full days, and usually a reception somewhere in the Flathead Valley afterward. I photograph those too, from West Glacier lodges to ranch venues near Kalispell, Whitefish, and Bigfork. If that's closer to what you're planning, the Weddings row below is the one to open.

What to expect

From first hello to final gallery

A clear, calm process. No guesswork, no surprises.

One

Send a message

Drop me a line through the contact page. Tell me about you two and what you have in mind. I'll reply with availability and what the investment looks like, and we'll trade emails or hop on a call. When it feels right, a signed contract and retainer locks in your date.

Two

Build your day, together

I shape the day around what actually matters to you, not a template. Locations that fit your story, a clean timeline, and permit guidance if you're eloping in Glacier. How to elope in Glacier is the overview. By the time the day comes, you'll feel ready, not overwhelmed.

Three

Show up. Be yourselves.

I photograph what's real. The way you actually hold each other, laugh, move. Every frame is intentional, and the quiet moments get just as much attention as the big ones. When you look back at these, they should feel like your day. Not someone else's.

Four

Edited, delivered, yours

Every image is edited to match. Same warmth, same mood, start to finish. I only deliver photos that earn their place. You'll get a mix of color and black and white, hosted on a secure online gallery you can download and share.

In their words

Real couples

Working with Stan was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He brought such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. It's no exaggeration to say he became a lifelong friend through this process. He captured our day in the most beautiful, authentic light.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Stan. We felt so comfortable. It felt as if we were connecting with a friend who just happened to have a camera. Every single picture we received is beautiful and clearly captures the love between us.

Frequently asked

Common questions

Yes. Every wedding ceremony in Glacier National Park requires a Special Use Permit from the National Park Service, regardless of group size. Specific locations also have group-size limits and seasonal restrictions. I help every Glacier couple navigate this, including cost, timing, and which locations require what.

Late June through mid-September is peak season. Going-to-the-Sun Road is fully open, alpine wildflowers are blooming, and most trails are accessible. Late September into early October brings golden larches and dramatically fewer crowds. Winter elopements (December to March) are quieter, snowy, and unbelievably beautiful for the right couple. Once we're working together, I'll help you pick the season that fits the day you're picturing.

Most couples book 6 to 12 months ahead, especially for peak summer dates. I take a limited number of weddings each year so I can give every couple my full attention. If your date is within a few months, still reach out. I sometimes have last-minute availability.

Yes. I travel anywhere your story is happening. Recent destinations include Hawaii, Bulgaria, the Pacific Northwest, and Wisconsin. Travel pricing varies; reach out and we'll talk through logistics.

Yes. I'm an ordained officiant, which means I can sign the paperwork and make it official. For elopement couples this is included, so you don't need to find a separate officiant. Just two people you trust, in a place you love.

It depends on coverage length, but expect roughly 75 to 100 fully edited images per hour of shooting. Every gallery is delivered in full resolution with personal printing rights, hosted on a secure online gallery you can download and share. You'll get a mix of color and black and white.

Always. I'm a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, and I photograph every couple equally and wholeheartedly. Your love is welcome here, no exceptions.

Documentary-style with a moody, cinematic, earthy edit. Warm skin tones, rich greens, a slight film grain. I prioritize real moments over staged ones, but I'll guide you when you need it. Browse the Glacier elopement and Montana wedding portfolio to see if it's the right fit.

Yes. Alongside photography, I work as a Montana wedding content creator: candid 4K vertical video and behind-the-scenes coverage that pairs with the photographer you've booked, or with my own photography as a hybrid. Sneak peeks land the next day, and elopement content packages start at $1,900.

Two hearts, one story

Let's tell yours

No two love stories look alike, and yours shouldn't be photographed like anyone else's. I'd love to hear what you're planning.
